We hope you’ll join us and see what the smiling pink whale is all about.Overview:The Store Planning Manager will report directly to the SVP, Planning and is responsible for strategy execution and forecasting at the store level. This role is critical to ensuring the bottoms up store performance and trend aligns to the Topline Retail Channel view. The Store Planning Manager will be the main driver in identifying and communicating sales and inventory opportunities and providing risk-mitigation recommendations at the store level. They will partner with allocation to ensure Retail Channel forecasts align with store inventory positions. In addition, this role will be expected to meaningfully contribute to broader Retail channel strategy conversations across the company.Key Responsibilities:* Provide By Store sales, inventory and assortment assumptions both during the pre-season buy process and in season* Align and partner with Finance, Store Teams, Merchandising, Allocation and Visual on the execution of store inventory and assortment strategies, both pre-season and in-season* Develop Pre-Season Buy Process which addresses store needs from an assortment and inventory perspective* Bridge the gap between Retail topline Planning and Allocation strategies* Partner with Merchandise Planning during the buy process to develop unit buy strategies that are supported with store inventory capacities and sku productivity analysis* Partner with Merchandising on geographical and climate specific assortment strategies* Participate in and bring store level analytics to Weekly By Door OTB and Monthly OTB Meetings* Develop Weekly Store Level Analysis to better inform risks and opportunities that need to be addressedQualifications:* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail and wholesale math skills, understanding of forecasting* 5+ years of merchandise planning, store planning or allocation experience* Proficient with Microsoft Excel – pivot tables, v-lookups, index match, etc.* Organizational and time management skills are essential as well as the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines* Communication and presentation skills: concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences* Strong leadership skills* Build collaborative partnerships cross-functionally; identifies/influences critical stakeholders* Passion for the vineyard vines brand* A positive and enthusiastic attitudeEvery day will feel this good because:* We have a fun-spirited entrepreneurial culture filled with truly “good” people* We have flexible working hours and work from home days to accommodate your personal life* We offer a generous employee discount so you can rep our lifestyle on-and-off the boat* We offer a competitive salary package, 401-K, commuter benefits, and paid-family leave, health savings , flex spending accounts, life & disability insurance* We have an onsite gym as well as health & financial wellness programs to keep you active* We offer 2 summer Fridays to take off in addition to a competitive vacation policy & holiday calendar#LI-AB1
