Finance Manager, Sales Finance – Opportunity for Working Remotely

**Finance Manager – Sales Finance – Forecasting****Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?**This Finance Manager position in our Sales Finance Central team in Palo Alto provides an exciting opportunity to grow your career by supporting E-staff in the Sales Organization as well as Sales Finance. You will have opportunities to oversee and prepare key bookings related materials on an on-going basis, coordinate bookings forecast/actual bookings reviews with GEO, BU, and other stakeholders, and collaborate across Sales Finance teams in order to promote continuous improvement in our forecasting and tracking actual bookings processes. The candidate will liaise with our Bulgaria team for reporting deliverables and manage top deals and pipeline activities, as well as bookings adjustment requests that ultimately impact forecast and actuals. The role has a great level of visibility to E-staff and, as a result, the right candidate needs to have excellent organization and communication skills, as well as be highly detailed oriented and time & have strong project management skills.**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**You will prepare weekly bookings forecast and actuals reporting, track top deals, and review bookings adjustment requests. You will coordinate deal inspection and bookings update meetings. You will identify key business performance metrics and develop KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting. You will improve, streamline, and automate the reporting and operational processes.**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**You will work on the following areas on a regular basis.• Prepare and provide weekly bookings updates to Executives• Prepare on-going business performance reporting packages (BOD, E-staff, others.)• Coordinate and manage deal inspection, BU/Sales bookings update meetings• Manage bookings adjustment requests by working with Sales Ops, Sales Finance, and Bookings Ops teams• Support quarter-end bookings forecast management in coordination with Revenue Accounting team• Support ad-hoc bookings reporting/analytics in collaboration w/ Bulgaria team.• Cross-functional collaboration across Geo Sales Finance, Geo Sales Operations, Corporate Finance, and Revenue Accounting.For these assignments, you will leverage the following skills to be successful.• Superior software and system skills (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel) a must. Tableau, Oracle EBS, Hyperion and other FP&A tools experience is a plus.• Attention to details in the analysis of results and drivers of bookings performance• Strength in researching, understanding, and succinctly explaining bookings trends, Y/Y growth analysis, and bookings linearity performance as well as complex transactions and business impact• Strong ability to visualize data, ability to organize data that will facilitate executive reviews, and design and complete meaningful reporting packages• Ability to build analytical models that can be expanded and implemented into existing reporting processes• Proficiency in computer-based analysis and complex financial modeling• Strong initiative and desire to work in a global team-oriented environment• Self-starter with excellent time and project management skills• Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills**What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?**This role will report to the Finance Director in Central Sales Finance team, and the Finance Director’s management style is to empower team members by providing guidance and support and removing roadblocks.The Central Sales Finance team is a small team of highly motivated, hard-working finance professionals, and we emphasize collaboration and mutual respect. The team works flexible hours while still being available. There is a heavier intensity on the working schedule towards the end of each fiscal quarter and during the reporting period.
